Viet Nam welcomes Australian investors
Ha Noi (VNA) – Viet Nam attaches great importance to creating propitious conditions for Australian businesses to invest in Viet Nam, affirmed Vice President Truong My Hoa.
The Vice President applauded the cooperation between Victoria State and ministries, agencies and localities of Viet Nam while receiving in Ha Noi on May 15 a delegation from Victoria State, Australia, headed by governor David de Kretser, who is on a week-long visit to Viet Nam, starting on May 14.
She spoke highly of the Australian government’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) for Viet Nam, saying that the Australian-funded projects have yielded positive results, contributing to the socio-economic development of the country.
Vice President Hoa spoke highly of prospects for cooperation between the two countries, particularly in economy, trade, investment, education and training, and tourism.
She said the two countries needed to foster their cooperation to tap their potentials for their common interest and for peace, stability and cooperation in the region.
For his part, the governor highly valued the friendship and cooperation between Australia and Viet Nam, which he said has seen considerable development in various fields.
He expressed his wish to enhance the cooperation between Australia’s Victoria State and ministries, agencies and localities of Viet Nam.-Enditem
